- IPAS (Poultry Industry Association of Senegal) is the organization that brings together the main stakeholders of Senegal's poultry sector: farmers, hatchery operators, technicians, processors, distributors, women in livestock farming, and large-scale producers.
Founded in 2013 to structure and sustainably develop the sector, IPAS works to defend the material, economic, and moral interests of poultry industry professionals. It plays a key role in representing and coordinating with Senegalese authorities, African regional institutions (WAEMU, ECOWAS), development partners, and national and international interprofessional organizations.
🎯 Its main missions are to:
- Promote "Origin Senegal" poultry products by highlighting their quality and traceability
- Represent and advocate for the sector before public authorities, technical and financial partners, and professional organizations
- Coordinate actions among stakeholders to improve the structuring of the sector
- Strengthen the professionalism and competitiveness of Senegal’s poultry industry
