- In response to the major shifts impacting the agri-food sector, the Boussingault Institute is paving the way for a new generation of engineers. Its innovative apprenticeship-based program focuses on food system transition and the integration of artificial intelligence.
This three-year curriculum, open to students with two years of post-secondary education, trains engineers to harness data in addressing environmental, economic and social challenges. Closely aligned with industry needs, the program promotes a systemic and operational understanding of agricultural and agri-food systems.
Backed by the French government as part of the France 2030 investment plan, the Institute will open a purpose-built campus in Ploufragan in 2026, with capacity to host up to 120 apprentices.
