- OLGA is a three-generation family-owned food company founded in 1951 in Noyal-sur-Vilaine, Brittany. Now led by Olivier Clanchin, the founder’s grandson and Chairman, alongside Managing Director Guillaume Debrosse, OLGA employs 1,100 people and generates €300 million in revenue.
Since the 1970s, OLGA has been committed to healthier, more sustainable food. It develops products in four key areas: plant-based alternatives, sustainable dairy, cereals, and nutritional ingredients. A pioneer in organic food, the company embraced organics in 1975 and launched its first soy-based desserts in 1988.
With 13 production sites in France (including six in Ille-et-Vilaine) and export subsidiaries in Germany, Spain, and Italy, OLGA distributes its products through supermarkets, organic and specialty stores, foodservice, and B2B channels.
Its portfolio includes several brands: Vrai, Tante Hélène, La Bergerie, and La Chèvrerie for organic dairy from cow, goat, or sheep milk; Petit Billy for conventional goat cheese; and Maison Bordier for premium butter and cheese. In the plant-based category, Sojasun offers soy desserts and a wide range of plant-based products. Sojade and Soon provide organic drinks and desserts made from soy, almond, oat, hemp, and more. In 2017, OLGA acquired Céréco, a leader in organic breakfast cereals, with brands Grillon d’Or and Terres et Céréales.
OLGA also innovates in health nutrition through its Ingood and Nutrisun divisions.
Mindful of its environmental footprint, 89% of its ingredients are of French origin. The company has developed its own supply chains—such as 100% French, GMO-free soy—and manages its own milk collection.
Its strong CSR commitment has earned it the highest AFAQ rating under the ISO 26000 standard since 2017.
