Presentation: Safer supports projects for a balanced and sustainable development of rural and peri-urban areas.

Safer are land agencies dedicated to rural and peri-urban areas, with missions of public interest. They support all stakeholders contributing to the balanced development of rural and peri-urban territories: farmers, local authorities, the State, and both public and private project leaders, in order to:
- Protect agricultural, natural, and forest land, fostering the establishment, maintenance, and consolidation of farms,
- Safeguard natural resources and preserve biodiversity,
- Promote the sustainable development of rural areas,
- Ensure transparency in the rural land market.

>> Safer purchases farms and rural properties in order to resell them to candidates selected by Safer governing bodies (technical committees, steering committees, board of directors) and Government Commissioners.

>> Safer conducts studies and responds to public tenders within the framework of close collaboration with local authorities. Safer also offers Vigifoncier, a land-monitoring cartographic tool designed for local authorities.

>> Safer provides temporary land management solutions for rural properties (land-use agreements, rural leases, etc.).
