- Established in the heart of French territories for more than 80 years, Primagaz distributes liquid gas to individuals and professionals. Its mission: to provide the energy essential to the vitality of the 25,000 French municipalities not served by the natural gas network while designing solutions adapted to each one. Committed to the energy transition, Primagaz was the first player in France to distribute biopropane, a 100% renewable energy sourced from biomass and with low CO2 emissions. Thanks to an ambitious program, Primagaz' CSR performance is rated Platinum by EcoVadis, positioning it in the top 1% among all companies evaluated. Since 1999, Primagaz has been the French subsidiary of the Dutch family group SHV Energy, the world's leading distributor of GPL with 30 million customers and 14,000 employees present in Europe, Asia, Latin America and North America.
