- As the spokesperson for the roast duck sector, CICAR (the interprofessional committee for roast ducks) was established by the various stakeholders within the roast duck industry. CICAR was founded in 2005 in Rennes. the membership of most of the production organisations, feed manufacturers, hatcheries and slaughterers/processors involved in the rearing and processing of roast ducks clearly demonstrates the sector’s commitment to promoting its expertise.
