Competition - Vaccination tips & tricks
The concept
The competition aim to highlight the initiatives, tips and tricks imagined by poultry and rabbit farmers to make vaccination work easier and safer, while complying with the associated good practices.
Entries can be submitted for :
- Different types of production: broiler egg-laying, palmipeds, rabbits, etc.
- Different vaccine administration methods: drinking water, nebulisation, injection, etc.
- Different objectives: improving animal or farmer welfare in connection with the project, optimising vaccination procedures, practices or equipment, facilitating or reinforcing vaccination-related biosecurity practices, etc.
Competition terms and conditions
Nine breeders will be rewarded at the end of the competition. All entries will be examined by a jury composed of members of ITAVI, SNGTV, SIMV, MSA, GF-AMVA and SPACE.
When selecting the winners, the jury will take care to ensure a balanced representation of the different sectors, methods of administration and objectives.
The originality of the tip, its simplicity of implementation, its potential benefits and its adaptability to different breeding situations will be taken into account to decide between the proposals and award places on the podium.
Each participant whose application is validated by the jury will be invited to SPACE 2025
for the award ceremony on 17 September at 3pm in the Youth Forum.
