Automatic feather removal
Ovoclear is the first inspection roller conveyor to integrate automated feather removal directly into the egg handling line. Until now, removing feathers stuck to eggs has remained a fully manual, repetitive task performed continuously during egg collection. Ovoclear replaces this intervention with an autonomous, in-line process — a genuine technological step forward for the egg industry.
Positioned right after the Meggsius Detect leak detection module, Ovoclear removes up to 90% of feathers and reduces belt interferences by at least 80%. It handles up to 45,000 eggs per hour, both table and hatching eggs, with a compact footprint that integrates seamlessly into existing collection rooms.
The result: more first-grade eggs, fewer line stoppages, operators freed from a repetitive task, and a concrete enabler for cage-free and free-range egg production.
