The Lely Hub is a secure on-farm server specifically designed for automated dairy farming environments. It centralizes the entire Lely digital ecosystem by hosting Horizon (herd management software), farm data, and backups, while providing a high level of protection against cyber threats.
The Hub replaces the traditional farm computer, which is often identified as a key cybersecurity vulnerability. Unlike a standard PC, it is a closed and secure system maintained by Lely, requiring no IT management from the farmer. Connected to Lely robots, the Hub manages system control, data storage, processing, and secure synchronization with the cloud. Farm data remains continuously accessible through the Horizon application, regardless of the status of the user's devices.
