Kubota DSX-W GEOSPREAD TIM Fertilizer Spreader
The Kubota DSX-W GEOSPREAD TIM fertilizer spreader is the first machine on the market equipped with the TIM technology (Tractor Implement Management). This innovation allows the implement to take the control of the tractor and automatically adjust its settings in real time via the certified ISOBUS TIM protocol.
In addition to the rate and working width settings, which are already automated thanks to GEOSPREAD technology, the TIM function now controls 3 additional features :
The spreading height distance between the disc and the target, automatically adjusted using 2 ultrasonic sensors placed on either side of the machine, which measure the distance to the ground and manage the lift accordingly.
The implement tilt, maintained at the correct angle (0° or 8°, depending on the settings chart recommendations) via a dedicated hydraulic top link.
The tractor engine speed, regulated to ensure a correct and stable PTO speed, and thus a constant disc rotation speed. As a result, the fertilizer spreader is always optimally adjusted, maximizing spreading quality under any condition.
