Phyto-api synergy for welfare and natural defense in aquaculture
Phyto AquaNity is a natural solution valorizing the synergy between standardized compounds including curcuminoids (turmeric) and artepillin C (green propolis). These compounds are mainly studied for their capacity to reduce oxidative stress and to modulate immune parameters in different challenging conditions. Its innovative development strategy includes bioinformatic assisted by AI (molecular docking in silico), pharmacology (intestinal absorption in vitro) and zootechny (Trials in vivo). Phyto AquaNity’s efficacy was demonstrated in Sea bream (Greece), Tilapia (Egypt), sturgeon (Italy) and shrimps (Vietnam). Results showed that it improves growth performance, significantly enhances feed efficiency, modulates immune and antioxidant markers, reduces mortalities in stressful conditions and improves profitability. It is one of the first natural complementary feeds in aquaculture combining simultaneously standardized phyto-api technology and translational development strategy.
