Multi-criteria evaluation tool for pig production
Multiporc is a web-based multi-criteria evaluation tool that provides objective, fact-based analysis of solutions for improving pig welfare.
It enables pig farmers and technicians in the industry to visualize the impact on the farm of changes in farming practices or systems, innovations and new equipment and buildings designed to improve animal welfare.
Multiporc guides and facilitates farmers' choices by providing them with an overview of the strengths and weaknesses of each solution, in a form that can be quickly mobilized thanks to rapid access to the final results in just 5 clicks from the home page!
The tool's design with partners (groups of pig producers and slaughterers) will facilitate its appropriation by pig farmers, with the potential addition of new levers in the future. This tool is available free of charge on the IFIP website.
