Repellent for flies, lice and ticks
Gerapyx is a natural pyrethrum and geraniol-based repellent (PT19) formulated for an optimum animal well-being. It is applied directly on the back topline using a pour-on applicator gun. This repellent is effective against lice, ticks and flies, including Culicoides, vectors of Bluetong and Epizootic hemorrhagic disease. As well as lick flies (Stomoxys Calcitrans), which are vectors of Lumpy Skin Disease. It contains a blue colorant for easy identification of treated animals. Its composition is based on two active substances extracted from plants. It is suitable for cattle, sheep, goats and horses. Its protection is long-lasting, with a remanence of 4 to 6 weeks depending on weather conditions and parasite pressure. It can be used in organic farming and is made in France. Existing solutions on the market are veterinary drugs with limitations, often subject to prescription and waiting times. In contrast, Gerapyx is an innovative, powerful, economical (€1.40/cow).
