End-of-tank level detector for hydraulic pump
NivAlert is a low-level sensor designed for hydrogen peroxide canisters used in milking robot liner disinfection systems. It is a mechanical device that clips directly onto the suction strainer tube of Dosatron-type hydraulic pumps, which operate without electricity and have no built-in level sensor.
As soon as the liquid level becomes insufficient, the sensor detects this and automatically sends an SMS to the farmer, via a connection to the milking robot. A visual alert can also be added to reinforce the visibility of the warning. This light remains on until the canister is replaced, guaranteeing rapid action.
NivAlert improves the reliability of the disinfection system, avoiding disinfection interruptions, reducing the risk of contamination and veterinary costs associated with mastitis. It relieves the farmer of a manual monitoring task, improves herd health safety, and contributes to the quality of the milk produced.
