Visit of a pig farm with a direct sales section (visit n°5)
Farm visit with a view of the courtyards
Visit to the processing laboratory
1.000 fattening places, 180 on straw
Conventional system (organic standards)
Direct sales sector: pig on straw, 10 pigs/week
Long chain: Cooperl sale, 60 pigs / week
2 partners + 5 full-time equivalent employees
80 Ha of agricultural land (corn, wheat, rapeseed) for food
Pietrain nucleus (males), Large White x Land Race (females)
FAF (on-farm feed factory)
15 meat sheeps
Departure from SPACE: 1:30 p.m.
Return to SPACE: 6:00 p.m.
Registration and information
This tour is free and is reserved for international visitors. A special shuttle will be chartered and a guide will be in charge of translating into English.
Pre-registration by email recommended at international@space.fr - During the Show, go to the farm visit counter located at the International Club to register.
