Visit of the innovation and research center for the production of red meat from the dairy herd (visit n°3)
Cutting-edge experimental devices
  • 16 weighing troughs for the simultaneous feed monitoring of 48 cattles
  • 1 device for monitoring attendance at watering points in very extensive conditions (Brocéliande moors)
  • 1 Phéno 3D gantry to monitor the morphological evolution of growing and fattening animals
  • 4 to 6 Green Feed to measure enteric methane emissions
  • 1 forage platform with 10 trials: yields, palatability, flora development, drought resistance, albedo
62 HA of UAA in a drying zone of silty-clay type on shale

Good yield potential of meadows and crops:
  • Corn silage
  • Grazed grass
  • Alfalfa and red clover
  • Wheat
A livestock building park suitable for experimentation, from 50kg calves to 900kg young cattle
  • 1 nursery with 120 places
  • 240 fattening places
And nearly 40 hectares of moors and permanent meadows

This tour is free and is reserved for international visitors. A special shuttle will be chartered and a guide will be in charge of translating into English.
