History

SPACE was created in 1987 on the initiative of the Ille-et-Vilaine Chamber of Agriculture, the Regional Chamber and the Rennes Exhibition Centre.

Over its 20 years, SPACE has experienced exceptional growth : from 60 exhibitors and 32,000 visitors on its launch in 1987, for some years now "Planet Livestock" has regularly seen 1,200 exhibitors and 1,800 trade names with over 100,000 trade visitors.
